C-Dubs 101

In the last slice of Tribe Vibe, the "grand finale," Jake and Jonna explore downtown Williamsburg. In two video segments, Jake introduces the older areas and Jonna walks around to more modern businesses.

Williamsburg is famous for its relics and ancient buildings (not to mention the Thomas Jeffersons and Patrick Henrys roaming the streets). If you go to C.W., be sure to pet the horses, go to a concert at Bruton Parish, visit the haunted house, break into the governors' palace and check out the coffee shop that will open in early 2009.

Did you know that the Kimball Theater opened in 1933? Or that the Cheese Shop has a selection of 200 cheeses? There are indeed some places in Williamsburg for non-tourists. It's a good idea to use some of the first weekend back at school to catch a bite, buy your books, chill with friends or shop for fresh produce.

Jake Robert Nelson is Opinions Editor and Jonna Knappenberger is co-Editor in Chief for The DSJ. Their views do not necessarily represent those of the entire staff.
