Former president Gene R. Nichol and his wife, Glenn George, will return to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they will teach at the law school.
Interim President W. Taylor Reveley said in a statement Thursday, "Gene Nichol and Glenn George return to Chapel Hill with my very best wishes and those of William and Mary. The University of North Carolina Law School has added two wonderful teachers and scholars to its number."
Nichol was a dean at the law school in Chapel Hill from 1999 to 2005. Before that, he taught law at the University of Colorado for 11 years, 7 of which were spent as dean.
